Come in and enjoy lunch like Miriam's dad and Taha's aunt did this week!

You're Invited to Lunch

We would like to invite our parents (or grandparents or a child's other significant adult with permission from parents) to join your student for lunch!

You can come any day--maybe you have a day off of work when we are in school or it's your child's birthday, for example--and join them in the lunchroom. Please bring your own lunch as we cannot offer you school lunch. No need to call in advance but please do bring your ID and check in at the office.

Here's our lunch schedule:

Kindergarten 1 11:25-11:50 am
Grade 1 11:30-11:55
Grade 2 12:05-12:30
Grade 3 12:35-12:55
Grade 4 12:40-1:00
Grade 5 12:10-12:30

This invitation is good for the rest of this school year! We hope you will have the opportunity to come at some point to get a look into this part of your child's day at school.

DOMINOS SLICE THE PRICE CARD FUNDRAISER TO SUPPORT HIGHLANDPALOOZA

The PTA is hosting a fundraiser through Dominos Pizza to raise money for Highlandpalooza, our big end of year carnival.  We are selling cards that allow the card holder to purchase one pizza and get one free every time they use the card until it expires at the end of 2026. In other words, if you buy 10 pizzas, you get 10 pizzas free!.

The PTA receives a portion of the sales and students earn prizes for the cards they sell. Last year this was a great fundraiser for Highlandpalooza, which allowed us to have the inflatable obstacle course. The more we raise, the more fun we can have at Highlandpalooza!

Flyer/order form about the fundraiser were sent home with students.

CLICK HERE to register your child and find out more about how the fundraiser works.  We appreciate your support!

Scholastic Book Fair

The Highland PTA is proudly hosting the Scholastic Book Fair on Feb 13th, Thursday and Feb 19th, during Parent Teacher Conferences.
We invite Highland families and friends to come check out the book fair and support our Highland library and classroom libraries. A percentage of purchases made during the fair will go straight back to the Highland library.

Another way Highland families can support is by donating funds directly to the Highland Library eWallet account. https://shop.scholastic.com/ewallet/fund?lang=en_US&walletId=520dfc23-cd37-414a-9de6-879c289c2941
This will give Mrs. Talbert, Highland’s librarian, another option to fill the school’s library with more books and resources.

We are always in need of volunteers. Please consider volunteering for a 15 minute time slot to help customers with their book fair transactions.
